Before I start, I must apologize for being away for so long. The reason for my absence would sound super silly but I assure you it was not. In fact, I was caught up with some "soul searching" and "lifestyle changes". Yeah, go ahead roll your eyes. Well... that is what my husband did! Anyhow, one of the results of that mighty philosophical journey is that I am now a vegan with some well researched moral asterisks (more on that later). Another outcome is that I have been able to, finally, find my true passion.
For the last three years I have been blessed (somewhat unwantedly) with the luxury of time and choice. And I feel, I owe it to that blessing to make the best out of it. So, I tried doing that. I have always loved writing but wasn't sure if that was something I would want to pursue seriously. Since I read and wrote a lot these last couple of years, I have come to realize that it is the one thing that I enjoy the most. I still don't know how good I am with the pen but I guess I would only find that out having tried my best.
That is why blogging is crucial to a person like me! It combines my two interests - writing AND fashion, and it helps me explore various ideas. So, of course, I am back at it again. I am truly grateful to all of you who are reading my post despite my unwarranted, long absence. I intend to keep entertaining you all, consistently!
This outfit is an ode to a crisp summer afternoon. The top is one of my finds from Pantaloons (India) and the skirt is from Justfab. The ethnic geometrical prints in the top make it look special and the blue in the skirt is just the right match for it. Hope you like the outfit!
