Fusion Fashion

Hello and Happy Diwali Everyone!
This is my special Diwali OOTD. I had been looking for a new lehenga but most of them were either too flashy for my taste or poorly stitched or well out of my meagre price range. It was then when I spotted this skirt on my trip to India. I just picked it because I liked it but then in another store I spotted this matching scarf/stole/dupatta and then it all came together smooth as satin. However, it took me three months to find a top to go with it. Somehow, finding a well fitted black crop top isn't as easy as one would think it is.
I absolutely loved the colors and the eclectic prints on this set and especially the way the hemline is a little higher on the sides. The best thing is that it is super light, very comfortable and extremely wearable. I went dancing in it and it was surprisingly manageable. Although I like it almost unaccesorized, I can add a statement necklace or a maangtika, some chandelier earrings and bangles and make it much fancier.
I hope you like this outfit as much as I do. Now because I am so stuffed with a rich, heavy Diwali dinner, I will go to bed and dream of food and fashion!
Keep visiting and keep spreading smiles!!
