Out Till The Sun Comes Up!

Hello All!

I found this cute top at Pantaloons while on my recent trip to India, and fell in love with it. Although it is a bit too bright for my taste, I have really enjoyed wearing it so far. My husband (the only person who can tolerate my incessant shopping) says I have too many blacks, greys and navys anyway, so this a pleasant change. The most fun part about this top is the Hinglish script caption! It goes so well with the sunny yellow hue and is a guaranteed conversation starter.

By the way, did I mention before that I have stopped buying leather (though, I am still using the leather items I bought earlier)? While chic non-leather handbags are quite easily available, I have been having some trouble finding quality vegan shoes. Some non-leather shoes look tacky and some are plain uncomfortable. Sure there are some dedicated vegan shoe brands, but they aren't easily available in stores here. However, after raiding plenty of regular stores, I found that a lot of popular brands like Nine West, Steve Madden and Guess make some gorgeous non-leather shoes too. The material information is usually mentioned on the inside or on the soles. I am just super cautious while choosing them because sometimes the shoes could be vegan but the soles or straps can be leather. So, I check the soles, outer cover, straps and everything to make it count. And, these beautiful, comfy pumps are one of my recent finds. Now my feet are happy and so is my heart... Yay! Well, that was just a little shopping tip for those who are looking for leather alternatives.

Hope you enjoyed the post and liked the new outfit!
