Green Love!

Hello All!
I haven't been out much ever since I got back from India. Both health and mood have thrown me completely off-track. Moreover, the backlogs are adding up everyday and that is making me lazier. I am sure that has been pretty clear from my infrequent posts. So basically I have been sitting at home and moping over things yet to do while the things that need to be done sit in another corner. But there have been some intermittent interesting things. Like, I came up with some short stories, cooked some interesting food, and drooled over several shopping websites. Since I am trying to save for my first Cartier piece, I have been working hard to keep my shopaholism under control. Hmmm... maybe that's the reason for the sucky mood. Luckily, I had a lot of coupons and gift certificates from before which have come in very handy in this hour of need.
Mixing and matching different hues of the same color is my favorite fashion trend right now. So this is exactly what I tried to do while getting this outfit together. Also, spaghetti strap tops are just perfect for summer. So I threw that into the mix. The green and white florals make it so much more breezier! Since I wore it for a casual shopping spree (actually a window shopping spree), I just paired it with simple peep toes and a big tote. Casual, comfy and fit for summer!

Top - Banana Republic
Pants - Loft
Bag - Abercrombie & Fitch
Shoes - Forever New (India)
Watch - Tissot
Key Pendant - Tiffany & Co. (Sorry there wasn't a better picture. Will post one soon.)

Another day, we planned a little sightseeing tour around the city. I threw on the same top but changed pants and shoes. I threw on a denim jacket 'cause it still gets chilly in the evenings here.
Hope you liked the post and the pictures! Keep reading and keep spreading smiles!!

Fresh Florals!

Hello Everyone!

I have been missing all the blogging fun for around three weeks now. Travel, family and very limited internet connectivity kept me from posting anything. In my last post I was happily scribbling all the excitement over my trip to India and now that same trip has come to an end. All that I am left with now are beautiful memories and a severe jet lag. However, after a fabulous vacation at home, it's time to go back to the daily nuances of a regular life. And also, it is now time to get rid of the extra pounds - thanks to the yummy homemade Indian delicacies, an unlimited plethora of sweets and adorable Indian mothers who believe in storing their love in the form of fat deposits.

Anyhow, since I was in Delhi, I must tell you about the fusion fashion scene there. Delhi is as fashionable and interesting as ever. Palazzo pants and ankle length kurtas, colourful full-length skirts and matching scarves/dupattas, crop tops and trouser - it is all out there. From neutral beiges to canary yellows, Delhi does it all. For my part, I did a good deal of shopping, mostly in the modern ethnic stores. I bought two ankle length skirts, three very interesting crop tops, a scarf and two kurtis. I can not wait to show you my loot but my sleep deprivation has got the better of me.

So, till I get my act together, I have for you my favorite spring-summer dress!
