Nothing says weekend coffee better than a simple tee and miniskirt!
I buy a lot of stuff during sale and clearance events. I got this skirt and this tee at a clearance sale this summer for $25 and $20 respectively. Since a black A-line/skater skirt or a regular grey tee has hardly any chance of being termed "last season"(not that I give much importance to "in season" when it comes to fashion), I thought it was a pretty good deal.
The weather in Oregon is extremely unpredictable this time of the year with winter and summer simultaneously blending with fall. I donned this look on one of the warmer days. Come winter and all I need to add is a knee-length coat with stockings and a pair of black booties!
Quick Tip: While buying stuff at clearance sales be sure to only buy stuff which is classic and perennial in nature. Silk blouses, cotton shirts, simple tees, traditional blazers and LBDs are the safest bets. Stay away from stuff that is supposedly too trendy as it is bound to be considered passé within weeks. Exercise caution and you will never goof up a sale/clearance purchase.
Have fun shopping!
