Quick Style: Shirt Dress and Bowler Hat

Hello Friends,
I am a terribly lazy and impatient person. On a usual day, I can not bear to spend more than 5minutes to put together an outfit. If you have read my other posts, you would have observed that I hardly accessorize or wear makeup (other than my red LUSH lipstick). Truth is, I wear minimal accessories by choice but lack of makeup is attributed to sheer laziness.
Anyways, as they say- "Laziness is the mother of all invention". So, this "quality" of mine has led me to explore various laid back and easy fashion alternatives.
Here is an example of one of the simplest and easiest fashion quick-fixes - a simple, black shirt dress and a  hat. It is a really easy outfit to put together because you can pair any footwear and any handbag with this. You do not need to worry about accessorizing since your hat already adds the required glamour to you ensemble. The best part is, any messy hairstyle looks better with a good hat on!
It is the perfect look for a summer day out or a quick carefree brunch with friends.
Quick tip: Pick the shirt dress in a material that is preferably wrinkle free. Saves you ironing/steaming time.

  1. This is such a cool idea! And I love how you've matched the hat to your shoes. You always look so well put together, it is hard to imagine that you like to spend as little time as possible fussing over your outfit! You look gorgeous as always. x

I must say, I am getting inspired by your makeup tips and have occasionally started wearing makeup now. I am realizing, even a little makeup makes one feel so wonderfully different and organized! :)

  2. Love your bowler hat!

  4. It would be wise of you if you choose a hat that goes with at least a couple of your dresses. In that case you need not buy hats separately for each dress. Eugenia kim hats
