Mint and Blush

Hi Friends,
Pouring some summer colors this time!
Pastel colors have been in since even before spring started this year. Summer gives us more and more reasons to keep stocking up on these delicious candy palettes. For people like me who find the pastel on pastel trend too bright for their wardrobe, opting for the lighter hues of these colors is a great alternative.
Soft, tender, icy colors - what a way to bring down the heat!
I was out for a weekend lunch with my husband and happened to take these pictures in a park beside the restaurant. For this outfit, I replaced pastel pink with blush and to add some neutrality to the outfit, I added a black and white top. Since, it was a casual lunch, I did not accessorize at all. However, I would normally love to wear a pair of pearl earrings and/or a nice silver charm bracelet with this.

Quick Style: Shirt Dress and Bowler Hat

Hello Friends,
I am a terribly lazy and impatient person. On a usual day, I can not bear to spend more than 5minutes to put together an outfit. If you have read my other posts, you would have observed that I hardly accessorize or wear makeup (other than my red LUSH lipstick). Truth is, I wear minimal accessories by choice but lack of makeup is attributed to sheer laziness.
Anyways, as they say- "Laziness is the mother of all invention". So, this "quality" of mine has led me to explore various laid back and easy fashion alternatives.
Here is an example of one of the simplest and easiest fashion quick-fixes - a simple, black shirt dress and a  hat. It is a really easy outfit to put together because you can pair any footwear and any handbag with this. You do not need to worry about accessorizing since your hat already adds the required glamour to you ensemble. The best part is, any messy hairstyle looks better with a good hat on!
It is the perfect look for a summer day out or a quick carefree brunch with friends.
Quick tip: Pick the shirt dress in a material that is preferably wrinkle free. Saves you ironing/steaming time.

Cowl Neck & Skirt!

Summers are so fun. High heels, short skirts, lemondes, ice creams and a lot of sunshine...wooohooooo!
Talking about ice creams and summers, I have been trying out all sorts of ice cream flavors since summer started this year - cucumber/raspberry to mint/butter and avocado to cinnamon/banana. After many trials and errors, I am back to my regular chocolate and hazelnut (and I am strictly sticking to it for the rest of the summer).
I am also shopping like crazy as there have been great sales discounts everywhere. I bought this cowl neck, animal print top around a month back but did not get a chance to wear it. So, here it is.
I kept the jewellery/accessory limited to a black and white pearl bracelet but I missed taking a close up of it. Will upload a clear picture of it very soon.
